Therapy Athletica is built on a psychology base. The studio incorporates ways to allow members to leave the studio after a class, feeling the same physiological and psychological benefits that they would after a therapy session.
Therapy Athletica is obsessed with the brainy stuff! the studio will be donating portions of every membership towards one of our two chosen foundations: Alzheimers WA - a Dementia Research Organisation to help further research for the neurological condition and, Alzheimers Research Australia - a leading medical research institute specialising in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Our vision extends beyond physical fitness to encompass a holistic approach that nurtures both body and mind. Our studio aims to create an inclusive, welcoming space where fitness and community unite to inspire positive change. We believe that movement and mindfulness can elevate mental and physical well-being, following the traditional originalities of pilates and barre. Rooted in the principles of psychology, we are big on mental wellness.
GOALS, ALIGNMENTS AND VALUES:
Community Engagement: Our mission is to create a community that unites in and out of the studio. Where members build connections, share experiences, and support one another in their wellness journeys. We will host workshops, wellness events, and community gatherings, encouraging local partnerships and a culture of collective support. As a studio, we aim to contribute positively to the neighbourhood, providing a space where people feel connected, inspired, and motivated to achieve their best selves.
Commitment to giving back: In addition to our community focus, we are dedicated to making a broader impact by supporting Dementia Research, recognising that mental wellness is deeply interconnected with physical health. A portion of our profits will be regularly donated to the Alzheimers WA organisation and the Alzheimers Research Australia, contributing to advancing understanding, treatments, and support for those affected by this neurological condition. This initiative reflects our commitment to mental health advocacy, with our studio serving as a vehicle for both personal and societal well-being.
